Welcome to the replacement to my old phpGedView site.
The same families and data can be found here, but this site is now the one I keep updated.
The reason for change - and I dislike change as much as the next person - was that phpGedView was no longer being maintained and thus was a security risk. The main developers forked this Webtrees program from phpGedView and now keep this running instead.
At first, I hated Webtrees, but, from an admin viewpoint, it has some very nice little extras (for example the ability to fill in census details into a shared note which then automatically appears in each family members notes!).
There are things I don't like or haven't yet got to grips with - but that is just a learning curve.
This is a collaborative site - which means that you can, if you wish, request an account and actually edit a page yourself . It makes sense for those who know more about a specific branch to just add information themselves. But of course I am happy to add things on behalf of others if they prefer.
Please note that almost all entries are supported by sources notes, but they seem not to show unless you are logged in! If in doubt, feel free to ask me for my sources for a specific event.
Enjoy the site

Note: There appears to be a bug with the registration process. Clicking the link in the email you are sent brings you to the site but seems to fail to register that your address is OK. If that happens, please let me know via email and I can manually sort it!
